My new email-address - already working - is

and please, note that the old one still works, but only for a few more weeks max...

All Henneken Jazz Guitar models - including the Bassonette - are now available as 16” versions also.

Pictured here are the first ones made and note the s-holes instead of f-holes on the one below.

S-holes are now a ”standard” option as well and naturally at no extra cost.

NEW ENDORSER FOR HENNEKEN ARCHTOPS

Carmine D'Amico, New York based studio & jazz guitarist, will soon be playing a Henneken Royale. Carmine's guitar is scheduled to be set & ready by the end of May 2004 - so, more information & pics can be expected then...

Ps. visit Carmine at www.carminedamico.com

Due to the lack of time (=too much work) and other major obstacles, I personally skipped the show this year. However and despite my absence, few of my guitars were presented there by Stephan Ronge (Personal Guitar) like the previous two years. In addition, Matthias Berg - a participant of the first archtop guitar making course I held in August - was also there to promote the course of 2004 for me. For more information on the course, see the next news item...

Note also that Stephan has currently 3 of my guitars in his shop for sale - Standard Karelia, Finlandia Plus & Royale Deluxe - and for an appointment and/or further information on those specific guitars, feel free to call or email him:

The first 3-week, 9-to-9-hyperintensive, archtop-guitar-making course I held at my workshop in August 2003 went very well and another one will be scheduled for 2004 - around August/September - if there's enough interest for it... (well, two participants is all it requires...;^)
For pics of the first course & more information for next year's course, check out the soon-to-be completely updated Vacation Courses page.

NEW CATALOG & PRICES FOR 2004

The long promised catalog is scheduled to be ready early this year as I'm currently (and finally!) working on it - the lay-out, selecting pictures etc... and please note, that it won't be a CD-ROM after all, it's a set of printed brochures - and simply due to the fact that CD-ROMS are not quite as functional as I first thought they'd be - another thing is that, it'd be too much work also...

And yes, unfortunately prices will go up by +10-15% beginning of next year - after all, the guitars now come in more expensive (and better!) cases (by Calton) + the costs for quality materials, as well as for shipping, keep going up year after year...

In any case - the new prices will be announced later - around the time the catalog is coming out - and will be put into effect immediately...

The "Diablo" - a 17-inch, double cut-away archtop featuring 18-frets-to-the-body (!) construction - is scheduled to be ready around March 2004...

Ps. other new & interesting stuff coming up also;
  • 4-stringed Bassonette with spruce top & 3 pickups => March 2004...
  • Concerto with quilted maple back & sides and birdseye-maple neck => March/April 2004...
  • Etc...

Now supplying Henneken Archtops in custom-made cases by Keith Calton... These luxury cases are individually hand-tailored to the guitar. It adds EUR 500 to the price of a guitar... but worth every cent!
